My stay at the hotel was simply wonderful. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the breakfast was of good quality. I loved the four-poster bed in my room, although having a chair to sit and watch TV would have been a nice addition. The hotel's great shower made my mornings refreshing. The service was top-notch, accommodating my request for an earlier breakfast. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with the pretty square and all the attractions of Kelso close by. While the dining experience was enjoyable with special extra touches, it was a disappointment that the freshly plunged coffee wasn't included. Overall, it was a lovely experience.
